20/01/12– Audi A4′s new to Centrals Fleet
CSD have added the new Audi A4 to its ever expanding fleet. John Green, Centrals new Rental Mgr added “The new Audi’s are perfect for the business exec and the contract hire price is truely unbeatable!”
04/01/12– CSD help Warrington Wolves & England’s Scrum half move house
Central was pleased to help Warrington Wolves and Englands scrum half, Richie Myler move house. All the best with the move Richie and happy new year!
04/08/11– COAST 2 COAST – Central’s helps the Wolves Foundation with this challenge
CSD was pleased to be able to provide the minibuses that enabled 30 people to take part in the “COAST 2 COAST” challenge. The event saw them cover over 150 miles in just 2 days. The team who set of from Whitehaven at 10am on Saturday morning travelled to Alston and then on to Newcastle where they were scheduled to arrive at 4pm
5/08/11 CSD provide Motorhome for Louis Anderson to use on the COAST 2 COAST challenge
Alice Kelly one of the Wolves Foundation young trustees has raised a huge £750.00 by completing a gruelling 150 mile bike challenge. Alice completed the coast 2 coast challege with sister Ruby, brother Archie and Mum & Dad. The money Raised will go towards a trip to Gambia were Alice and other trustees will be delivering sports and arts activities to children and young people in local schools, nurseries and hospitals. Well done Alice!
02/07/11 Central help transport a GIANT WOLVES FAN
After several weeks of running community workshops the warrington wolves foundation created the giant warringtonwolves supporter.The young trustees of the foundation took part in the giants parade in Chester city centre, over 100
giants paraded in the streets. Obviouslly being a giant he was unable to use normal modes of transport, so Central helped out with some Giant wheels
13/06/11– CSD pleased to help a great cause, The Joe Redmond Fund
Central were happy to be able to provide the minibus so a group of lads were able to do the “Three Peaks Challenge” after being let down from another hire company. The three peaks challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24hours!!!! They were doing this adventurous (some would say mad) to raise funds for a little boy called Joe Redmond. Joe suffers from Diamond Blackfan Anaemia (DBA) which is very rare disease affecting 700 worldwide, it is caused by the bone marrow failing to produce red blood cells. The only cure is a bone marrow transplant and against all the odds his sister is perfect match, so early next year Holly will donate her life saving bone marrow to give Joe the chance of a normal life. The funds raised will help the family with the financial burden of the transplant in London next year and the constant medical care Joe requires. Very well done boys!!!

Central Self Drive have joined the united rentals group. United help local companies buy new vehicles at a national rate enabling CSD to provide top quality motoring at an affordable price!
10/05/11– FORD ECOnetic CARS introuduced to at CSD
Central Self Drive have just had their first batch of Ford’s ECOnetic range delivered, these fuel efficient cars help the motorist go further for less. Rental Manager Andrew Blythe added “The new additions to our fleet makes ideal transport for UK getaways giving our customers more miles for their money”
01/05/11– Central add the first batch of 11 plates to the fleet
CSD welcome the first batch of 11 plate vehicles through its door. The first being the new 1.8hdi Berlingo with many more on there way!
04/04/11 – CSD The Driving Force Behind the Warrington Wolves
CSD Help move Wolves Back row Ben Westwood, with the help of a brand new Ford Transit Jumbo, one of many in the increasing fleet of CSD. “The ideal vehicle for moving house” said Ben. We wish him all the best in his new home and congratulations for being named Engage Super League Player of the Month for March!

08/08/10 – Anderson brothers bring Challenge Cup to Central
After Warrington Wolves second success in two years at Wembley, Central sponsored Louis Anderson and his brother Vinnie brought the Challenge cup to CSD. Andrew Bltyhe Centrals new Rental Manager commented “It was a great achievement to win the cup for a 2nd year and sealed with a superb perfomance in the final”
08/08/10 – WOLVES back at WEMBLEY, thanks to our boy Louis
Central Self Drive sponsored ‘Louis Anderson’ produced a master class to send Warrington Wolves back to Wembley for the 2nd year running with a stunning 54 – 12 defeat of Catalans Dragons. The French side inflicted a shock defeat to the Wolves in Perpignan just a fortnight ago but this was soon wiped from the memory banks as Warrington produced clinical demolition of the Dragons. Centrals Louis Anderson led the way with a hatrick of tries and was well supported with Ben Harrison, Matt King, Chris Riley, Lee Briers, Richie Myler and Jon Clarke all finding their way across the try line. Warrington now face Leeds Rhino’s on the 28th August at Wembley for the Challenge Cup! Come on you WOLVES! Pic below sees Louis going over for the third time to seal the win.
19/06/10 – CSD attend Warrington Classic Car Motor Show for the 2nd year running
Central were pleased to attend the Classic Car show again this year, another huge success and great day out with Warrington’s favourite friend Wolfie.
16/05/10 – CSD attend Family FUN Day @ Rylands Rec Club
Central were pleased attend the family fun day were they exhibited some of their classic cars but the real star on the day was Warrington Wolves very own WOLFIE! A great day was had by all and a very needy cause in Alder Hay Hospital supported.

01/11/09 – FAST LANE LOYALTY CARD 
Central Self Drive are pleased to announce their loyalty card for regular hirers. The card entitles the holder to a number of benefits which include discounted hire rates, Personalised customer file, reduced check in and out times and many many more. 7/10/09 – CHALLENGE CUP LIFTED AT CSD
After the Wolves stunning win at Wembley the Challenge Cup found its way to Central Self Drive. Warrington turned in a wonder performance to defeat the Hudderfield Giants 25-16 and end their 35 year wait to get their hands on the Cup again.

We now offer mobile tyre fitting on all leading brands of car tyres, van tyres, 4×4 tyres and run-flat tyres. We fit the tyres at your home or work. Tyre fitting and balancing is fully guaranteed. We also carry out puncture repairs. There are no call out charges or hidden extras. Our mobile service means we don’t have expensive tyre depots so our fully-inclusive prices are always low. 01/08/09 – WARRINGTON MKT CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Central Self Drive took part in the classic car show in the town centre. 4 cars were exhibited which included a Rolls Royce, Mini Cooper, Mini Clubman and MG Midget. Central also had the pleasure of the one and only Wolfie from the Wolves for the afternoon. We ran a guess the number of ballons comp which was a great sucess and raised funds for the Wolves Foundation. The car show bought a lot of interest into the Town Centre and we look forward to the 2010 show.
01/02/09 – CENTRAL COMMERCIAL CARE 
Central re-opens its garage doors to fleets big or small. With a team of highly skilled and experienced mechanics Central is now able to get you or your company back on the road! Andy Gill Commercial Care Manager added “We have a great team with years of experience and know how in the motor trade and pride ourselves on the quality of service that we provide”. Our Clients include Vinnie Anderson who popped in for a service shortly after the great win at wembley!
14/07/09 – CENTRAL CELEBRATE 30 YEARS
30 Years ago Stan Lewis started hiring cars to his customers whilst theirs were being serviced. 30 Years later still family run but under the stewardship of his grandson David, Central has become Warringtons longest established hire company. To celebrate this fact Central invited its customers to a fun packed day at Haydock races. The champagne was flowing and a great day was had by all. Also to celebrate this achievement the Aussie Rugby League Legend Allan Langer (Alfie) came down to CSD. Alfie is a former Australian Test and Warrington Wolves captain. 01/07/08 – CENTRAL PROVIDE MINIBUS FOR WOLVES FOUNDATION FUND RAISER
Central provided the Wolves Foundation a minibus for their epic fund raiser. The guys at the foundation rode from Lands End to John O Groats on push bikes, which is an incredible 940 miles and the entire length of the United Kingdom. They achived this in ten days and raised alot of money for their great cause.
Wolfie gives the thumbs up on a job well done!!!!!!!!
03/06/08 – CENTRAL PROVIDE CAR FOR WOLVES FOUNDATION
In Support of the Wolves Foundation Central provided a FORD Mondeo. As a great admirers of the work that the foundation does it was with our pleasure.
